Noticed last week on the F3 expressway that the speedo needle was oscillating about a half millimetre each way at 110. It hasn't done that around town at 80 or 90!!
No big thing except when you engage the cruise control I noticed the pedal was "pulsing" in and out a centimetre or two and I assume it was trying to account for the rapid changes in speed it was sensing???? Not knowing how these models work, but having done this in an XE in the dim dark past! I assume the sprocket in the transmission from the transducer is fouled up? Any comments? Oh did I mention I had a little bingle recently and slid the rear over a large concrete pit lid at high speed and ripped the back plate out of the diff and bent one of those 20mm stabiliser bars at 90 degree? You think that might be linked? Comments and advice greatly appreciated as I can then advise the NRMA "approved" repairer of the extra problem they need to fix under their "lifetime warranty" as well as replace the shock they did not test, tighten the exhaust they did not inspect etc and so on!! Thanks forum gurus
