does anyone know the optimum running temp of the btr's. as 90+ C may be in the higher end for these boxes and btr just accepted the warranty.

No idea what the running temp is.

But I would think I'm good to assume that the 90/92 degree oil temp is fine. Considering that these BTR's are specifically designed for the Falcon, and that they have sold hundreds of thousands of them, if there was a compatibility issue, im sure BTR would have kicked up a big stink long ago.

I know heat is the enemy of these boxes, but considering they last 200,000 or 300,000+ km, if they were running too hot in normal conditions, I cant see that they would last this long in the first place. Towing and heavy duty use excluded.

mm time to intall a temp guage into the auto box!
