Anyone know what serial numbers were used for the XY? I got an October 1970 one which was a pre-release build. I'm wondering if I can find out what 'number' XY it is.

Or does anyone know what places to go looking?

Also, the Max Ellery manual says paint code 'U' is dark grey. Could it be 'Ultra White'?

paint code U is ultra white, but trim code U is dark grey

dunno about XY, but S trim code in XA's is Saddle vinyl
