G'day,
Anybody got any advice on idle problems with an Au Xr8 II. Mine idles alright in drive but when I put the ac on it idles rough. I've checked all leads and connections, had the throttle body serviced and replaced the idle control motor. When in drive it idles abit under 750 and drops a bit when the ac is on. Could a defective throttle position switch prevent the idle going up when the ac is on ?? Also would a defective harmonic balancer be more likely to cause problems with the ac on, it looks alright.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
