Just a quick question to any of you who have done this mod to their EA...

My car is a 1990 Series 2 EA S-Pac.

I want to do a few mods starting with the XH Snorkel. My airbox lid has the piping attached, and runs to where the air comes into the snorkel. The current snorkel is moulded into the radiator shroud (its all one bit). To fit the XH snorkel, do i replace the radiator shroud to one without any snorkel moulded into it, or modify the one i already have by cutting off the snorkel part so i can fit the XH one?

Sorry if it sounds a little confusing. Ill post up a pic if need be....

Yep, that's what I did.
With a hacksaw. 8-)
Fairly messy job, but the snorkel covers it all up anyway.
