currently, i have removed my dash to fix a few problems which i have grown tired of. While its out is there any thing i should check for on my heater box to see if it needs any service?

Can air-con gas leak through the heater box? (my air con needs to be regassed so i don't know lol)

also whats a good way to locate vacume leaks?

Since youve got it out you may as well put in a new heater core and A/C evaporator.

heater core playing up no heat i.e. blocked core, nothing else really, reason for changing it is that over time the coolant taps can get brittle and snap meaning dash out again.

a/c evaporator let someone you knows answer.
