Adam, that wheel you have pictured is an AU2 Ghia steering wheel - the main difference is the non 'pin-pricked' leather and the half-wrapped woodgrain inserts - the EL GT / NL Concorde / FBT steering wheels have different pattern in the woodgrain which fully wraps the upper and lower parts of the wheel (opposed to semi-wrap like the AU2 Ghia wheel).

thanks steve! To me the LTD wheel looks like normal leather wheel with woodgrain:

this AU2 Ghia one looks a bit more like an XR wheel?? what do you think?

Yeah the AU XR wheels have the extra moulded / contoured bits same as the AU2 Ghia wheels...Fraser's wheel is similar to the ELGT / NL Concorde and FBT wheels (woodgrain wise) but obviously doesn't have the contoured bits *shrugs*...Ford do some whacky things !

yeah i choose it becuase of the more XR sort of look. In my opinion it was the closest thing i could get to an ELGT without paying $500+

lets keep it simple and just say the car was written off and it belonged to the insurance company there after. The f**k is still on the loose. That really s**t me.
