Anyone got a part number for an Optima Yellow Top battery to fit my EF I6? I want it to fit into the factory battery box, and same sized round terminals on the same side.
(and yes, I have read some old threads, but there seems to be a lot of different part numbers mentioned)

Might not be neeeded, or not yet at least. Seems my new battery terminal with the built in voltmeter was causing issues with the battery charger charging the old battery...
bUt this battery can't have long to go, I've had it over 2 years, and it wasn't looking very new at all when I got the car!

If you do get one, just get eht Optima YellowTop D34 which can fit on the battery tray in an ef/el fine.
The battery box will need to be removed, but it still looks stock and will be fine, dont worry.

Just reviving this as my battery is finally gone and I've got to organise a replacement tomorrow, going with the Optima's due to the good comments on ehre.

Now Daniel said the D34 will fit on the tray without the battery box, but in some posts I read in my search someone mentioned something about a Ford specific battery being made (anyone got a part number - just that I prefer to go shopping already knowing what I'm after).
D34, D35 or D75 were a few part numbers I came accross in my search...
