i had a problem with the lifters before so i changed the rocker gear to ef set then 2 days ago a lifter s**t itself noisy as hell so went bought a set of new lifters put them in yesterday but still can hear 1 lifter not much but still there is there anything else that could be the problem .

the oil feed on my dads EB was leaking through the head gasket and droping pressure to the HLAs. did the same thing. one set died second set died.

replaced the head gasket over all its quieter than before just one small ticking noise and only when it get warm when cold its almost gone.
