Hi Guys
Didnt really notice it until a few days ago. I changed my tail park/brake globes and bout 2 weeks ago. I took a look at the brake lights today and one of them is already fused. It was the same side and filament that was blown on the old bulb. I checked the fuse and it was meant to have a 10a fuse but its got a 15a. Could this have anything to do with the globes blowing.. Help!!!

Yeh well the 15amp fuse is letting in more "power" (for lack of a better word), and therfore blowing the filament...replace the fuse with a 10amp one..

The size of the fuse shouldn't matter.
There isn't 10 OR 15 amps flowing through that little lightbulb. Could be a coincidence. The result of replacing the fuse with a lower wattage will be that the fuse will blow easier - wont really change your bulb blowing.

i had prob with this on my old EB.... end up being wires at the back near tail light were hitting something, becoming exsposed, and shorting out.. and also the fact that there was a pit of surface rust on connectors.... it is a possiblity..

Thanks for the reply guys and I was told the same thing about the 15 - 10 amp fuse. I will check the wire on the back to see if they are touching anything which is shorting them.
Cheers
