Hey has anyone else had problems wiring aftermarket amps into the standard el premium sound system???? I can only seem to get the fms one that came with the car working.......... I have a response amp i want to hook up to it but it just wont work for some reason.

Also if ne1 could help me with the wiring diagram for the main plug that goes into the back of the tape player/radio unit.

And if anyone has gotten them in no worries if u could say so that would b nice too

I hada similar problem when converting my amp. I found out the reason it wouldn't work was that the remote signal from the head deck is only 7v and the response requires 12v for the remote input. I just ran a wire to the cigarette lighter and problem solved
