Took my EF out on a country road for the first time in a while and the first thing I noticed was at speeds which were fast (but not excessive) the rear end was slipping out around the corners.
Ive driven such roads before (although not recently) and while the EF rear end has always felt a bit awkward I was very strongly aware of this drift as it was very unnerving and causing me to have to make steering corrections on a regular basis. Tyres are good, shocks are probably a bit soft but I suspect my control arms have had it. Just wondering what ye all think would contribute most to the problem and what I should get fixed first?

its not a problem its just the way a live diff is on dirt roads. non IRS falcons have always been crap on dirt roads.
can be good fun tho.

Fair enough except this was a paved road. Windy, but paved with a good surface.
The car is also worse than in the past so I dont think its simply a falcon problem.

Personal preference. I go for 40 rear, and about 35 front.

wouldnt 40 PSI in a tyre make it wear more in the middle as it bubbles up?? what advantage u get from puttimg more pressure in back??

40psi ain't that much.
Running 40psi rear, 35psi front, gives it a little bit more give in the front, and pushes the cars balance slightly towards oversteer. I also got an LPG tank in the back.

Good advice.. Ive generally had the fronts higher than the rear (only about 30) and I have an LPG tank aswell.
