Hey guys

im just looking around and seeing what i can get for my ba.
I have got a SS induction kit and K&N Pannel filter, but looking at getting a aftermarket ECU

There are heaps out there but would like to get a piggyback one.

Just wondering on what you guys might think is worht getting, I have been looking at:
1.G reddy e-manage
2. A'PEXi S-AFC
3. Unichip

i guess is there any others. i dont think im going to be doing anymore mods to this car as it still has a 5yr warrenty.
i guess im after better fuel econ, and a touch more power i guess.

Cheers
MArk

Why not just run the BA edit, cheap easy and more powerfull than most aftermarket engine management. Plus from what I have heard you will have a lower chance of warranty problems as the programing can be put back to stock.

Its an edit that allows the tuners to directly modify and tune the factory system. I am only aware of Herrod Motorsport over in Vic, but I am sure there are many other dealers over there. Herrod call it the Herrod Stealth but it goes by many different names dependign on dealer (CAPA edit, BA edit, SCT edit etc), they are all the same product. Check the Herrod site out for more details http://www.inetcentral.com.au/stealth/

No its for NA 6cyl's too, its just the results aren't as good as that found with the turbo's or V8's. I would talk with them, I am sure they have done a few and will give you an idea on what results to expect, maybe 5-10kw at a guess but thats all you will get with any aftermarket system on a stock 6cyl engine. Possibly look at an exhaust and extractors in addition to the edit, or even in place of it to start with.
