Hey all, what do you reckon a very original XE falcon GL, orig 88000k, auto, air steer, no rust, elderly owner is worth.....only 6cyl unfortunately. But great for a conversion or whatever....

yeah id have to say well under 2k around 1500 tops, there getting old and auto 6 cyl arnt exactly collectors items. Basically paying for a decent body.
maybe do it up and throw an 8 in it will get you some more. In the end it comes down to what people are willing to pay, if someone is after a mint 6cyl auto then they will pay good money but if they just want to buy it to convert it then your looking at a lot less

Thought as much.
What is needed as a minimum to convert to a 351 - motor, trans, radiator, what else??? Even searching the forum I can't find this info - I would have thought it was an easy swap, with info readily available.... |

Probably easiest to find a rusted out ZK fairlane and transfer all the good bits over

I paid $1200 for an XE fairmont 9 years ago - it was in a different ball park compared to this one.
I would say about $2,000 to $2,500.
