Hey

Just managed to get the Stock radio out of me 98 AU forte.

Im installing a pioneer deck and have put the DIN bracket into the dash and found that the Head unit sits too far back and looks weird.. i have tried moving the bracket forward but then it doesnt sit stable...

Can anyone suggest how to mount it so it looks good? ie doesnt sit too far back or forward and so that the bracket which the head unit fits into is secure???

By that im assuming u mean the pocket below the Headunit as shown on the pic youve posted???

If thats what you mean then yes i have that. I have used the bracket which came with the headunit, the one you use when there are no pre existing bracket in car to fasten the H/U to.

I have managed to get it in with a bit of force and pushed the tabs in but it doesnt sit as nice as your Deck does!!!!

I hope thats what you mean by the Ford pocket??? sorry for the noobness Installing in the old EF was much easier!
