Hey, just installed a kenwood H/U into my dad's EA.
Ive also installed Pioneer 6x9's in the back & Kenwood 6" in the front. All the speakers were working fine, but after installing the last 6X9 no speakers are working at all. Ive checked the wiring on the H/U and they seem to be fine. The H/U is powered. Why is there no sound coming out??? Thanks P.S I used a wiring harness from super cheap. The Speakers were working at one point! |

Ok, ive turned the H/U off and leave it for 5 mins, then it works.
as soon as i turn it up loud the sound just cuts out. When i turn the H/u on, i can hear a small pop in the speakers! any help>? |

its either shorting out on the chassis and activating some kind of protection mode, or something in the amplification stage of the h/u is failing when its being worked hard.
best bet is to find the short and fix it... or use the rca's (if avalible) and a 4 channel amp, or if all else fails, replace the h/u. |
