Hey guys,
This may sound like a silly question, but could anyone give any advice on how to remove the cigarette lighter socket from the radio-surround facia panel on an EL dash?
I'm just paranoid about damaging the plastic, etc.

Cheers.

its been a while but im not sure it actualy comes out. ive always just pulled the entire surround off then unclipped the wires from behind. Maybe if you give it enough force it would come out....but ive never wanted/needed to try that, especialy considering how expensive and rare a good surround is

i'm pretty sure you push it from behind so it pushes out forward. has metal tabs or clips or something you might need to push in.
