im about to get new brakes for the ole ef but instead of gettin stock rotors again i wanted somethin a bit better like slotted or somethin but not sure how to go about it... any recomendations? also will this improve my braking ability or because the car has abs will it not make a difference coz the abs will kick in sooner coz it is more likely to lock up quicker? anyone got aftermarket rotors and noticed significant improvement or what? am i better off just geting better pads on stock rotors?

cheers, but that doesnt really answer my question.. does the drilled/slotted rotors make an improvement? or because its on abs it wont matter much because standard will brake hard enough to bring on abs at i guess any speed depending how hard u brake, does the new rotors brake firmer without lock up or is that mainly the pads i get or what? is it an improvement? if urs is actually braking now lol

Will never fade and have slightly stronger pedal
I think you should go for fish hook or those cross over rotors that are on the BF's if you can get them for your bus If not DBA slotteds are the way to go Get braided hoses for the car too if you only have rubber I'm doing this on my AU

same have dba slotted all round with ebc greenstuff pads and braided lines....standard brake fluid....under really heavy braking my abs hardly gets to quick in..normally shes stopped already...if the car pulls up quick enough and well enuff abs wont kick in.

but on your abs question it will only be better as and if abs quicks in having better rotors with more surface area and designed to give more pad bite, when combined with more performance pads the have a better bite then abs kicking in will only have more grip on the discs etc and will pull up even better...this would further reduce the lock up effect....on which abs fitted cars dont really do anyways unless the road surface is cold/slippery from wet or gravel etc.

i have a question, how do you get larger rotors on say an EF where it has the two lugs going across the top of the rotor where the caliper attaches too?
