had the EEC looked at today 1 error code came up map/bap sensor
fault .on the eb v8 should there be vacuum hose or not? |

....umm... if you have a EB V8, then there is a MAF, not a MAP, V8s don't measure pressure, just air flow.

Yeah they do have a BAP sensor (EB V8's only), same as a MAP really but in this case it is not used to calculate engine load, its only there for barometric correction. As far as I am aware, they should not have a vacuum line attached.

They're only on EB series 1. And yeh, no hoses attached.
