Guys

We all know that the ford I6 has the s**t take off. With an LSD what sort of gear ratios would work on good take off without affecting the top end speed too much.

I dont want wheel spins but a beta take off (beta than the comohores) is what Im after

if auto, go 3.7 or even 3.9's.

never been in a manual i6 e series so im guessing here, but i think the 3.45's are good with manual, and unsure about 3.7's.

I would actually prefer 3.45 auto and 3.7 manual

3.7 and 3.9 will be fine i think going into the 4's will start to make tings slightly awkward....with even a 3.9 your top end effect u wouldnt notice unless u regularly exceed the stock limiter :P  somewhere on here is te formula

Actually I know a guy with an AU Forte I6 auto with a 4.11:1 LSD and its actually not as bad as i thought, its got good pickup across the whole rev range.
