you might be suprised by this, but try on of the jap workshops. They usually have the te50 kit. It is the only ford kit you will ever find they have. I know for sure thats how it is up here in sunny brissie. CAnt see it being any different in Vic.

www.awcinfo.com is probly the cheapest place you'll find for the T3 kit.
I doubt you'll find a complete T1/T2 kit anywhere though, without a T1/T2 attatched to it at least. No one has replicated that kit. p.s. GAHH BRAD! lol take the TS50 badges off! |

thanx for the help,
but what are your thoughts on getting those aftermarket fibre glass kit. because althought it is cheap, i dont like the idea of cracking and the brittleness.

Its not that hard to repair either. Its basically the same, except if you hit a gutter it'll crack, and its slightly harder to prep. If you go for a genuine T3 TS/TE50 kit (plastic) from ford you won't get change of $5000 i'll bet, for parts only. |

i am a little hesitant because,
we have in our garage a Series1 TE50, and it needs new front and rear bumper bar. i am still desciding whether to get geniune item or a fibre glass item. our TE50 is sitting pretty low, and mum is going to drive that car, hence i am anticipating that front bumper to make contact with the road aleast a few times. A friend of mine has a firbre glass body kit, and i can clearly see lots cracks apprearing through the paint and it looks terrible. my question is, how durable is a fibre glass body kit ?

You have a series 1 te50, genuine one.. I would buy a genuine series 1 te50 kit for it. If you put a T3 fibreglass kit on it it will destroy the resale of the car, and imo the look. |
