I now have in my posession a EL Ghia ECU. So a Ticky ECU with proper climate control control, speed sensitive steering control...
Plus, since I'm wrecking a full EL Ghia, I also have the proper speed sensitive steering rack for sale too. If your interested, make me an offer.

Well... Not many EL XR Auto ecus go for under $150... Usually nearer the $200 mark...
So unless someone is going to give you a loaner to test, you may have to crack your wallet open a little more. |

I am trying to get mine out - will be about $150 to $200 depending condition. Its an EF series 2 - should be ok to use.

EF and EL ECUs are completely different - no tinterchangable.
