anyone know if there is some sort of a trick to getting the ac idle pulley off, mine was as tight as a mother f**k and i couldnt get it if, didnt awnt to try to much was rounding the nut

hmm yeh i dont have any of those tools, just thought there mite be a trick to it, if there isnt ill just get my mechanic to do it for me instead

digging deep into my EA service memory (about 2 years ago) the idle pulley has a lock nut you need to loosen off first.

Yeah a lock nut is correct. I had mine replaced a while ago, the bearing seized. There is a smaller locknut infront of a bigger nut that holds the pulley on.

I know what an air compresor is, whats a rattle gun? what does it do.. sounds good , wanna buy one now.

take the bracket and both pullies off as one item,,once you can get them loose it will be easy,,thats hoe i did my ea..

A rattle gun is a air impact wrench, what you see a tyre fitter use to remove and refit your tyres
