So if the yoke fits, will the tailshaft? wanted to know so I can source that too!

ie : 28 spline B/W - will the 3 speed shaft fit up?

hmmmm

hi

count the number of splines on the output shaft on the toploader

if its 28 spline that is just a everday yoke and a borgwarner auto will fit it

i dont know what vehicle ur placing this in so chances are u will have to get the tailshaft shorten and or lengthened depending on its application

and make sure the correct universal jiont is fitted to match the differential yoke also

cheers

LOL good one

28 spline is common yoke

so just a case of find any ford tailshaft that has a 28 spline yoke on it and place it on ur XW_station wagon tailshaft and should fit back in the correct length ( anything that has a borg warner gearbox 4 speed or auto will be the right yoke but the tailshafts come in all different lengths in different model cars )

replace both unversals and make sure there correct ones and buy hard spicer uni's non of the other crap thats out there

have fun with the tailshaft see how u go

cheers
