Hey lads,
I've got a few problems with the rear end in the GT.
I haven't had a chance to hoist it to get a good look.

The problem ; On acceleration in any gear the car lifts and twists (enough to feel like i'm on airbags sometimes). Also there is a slight Taxi style rattle on the drivers side (Could be a broken exhaust rubber but might be related to the other problem).
I changed the rear shocks and springs about 5 months ago, because it appeared that the previous owner had lowered it a little too much and it was starting to sag.
I fitted Pedders sportsrider shocks and springs which seemed to lift the car about an inch. Once they settled thought the car is back to it's a*** dragging self. I left the Tickford spacers out thinking it was going to be too high.
On changing the shocks i noticed the bushes were all pretty worn. Would they cause this problem alone or could there be more problems? Any advise would be welcome.
5 years ago i did most work myself but these days i'm out of my league.
Working on a MKII Cortina was a little different to the EL.
