My EF apparently has all the extra goodies like ABS, Cruise control (not installed) and all that jazz, but i would like to put a coolant bottle that has the level sensor in it, can someone take a pic of their coolant bottles sensor switch so i can see if mine has the same one?

i have a few extra plugs and stuff in my engine bay and dun wanna plug the wrong one in!

Cheers

Yes mine was the same, I had to use a torch to see the coolant level through it!

Both together cost me $102.

The real price would have cost around $165

The switch & float is around $65
The tank is around $100

the bottle is stretched from the wreck, hence i'm not prepared to use it in case it bursts :? the sensor itself is fine though

the bottles are the same, if you are prepared to drill the hole for the sensor. could be worth a few bucks to get a new seal for it though.

unless you buy an Au one, they come with the sensor. makes it cheap as.
just the mounts are different to e-series

You can actually buy just the sensor. I've done that and put the part number in the FM Parts database.
