I can't see a rocker cover being very expensive, I got 6x4 trailer done for $150 & a pot belly stove done for $50
So a rocker cover I would expect wouldn't be much more than $25

am i getting this right -
sandblasting takes it back to bare metal, with a grain like finish?? and also is there any way to mask something up on the rocker cover, that you dont want sandblasted, without the sand blaster blasting away the mask?

Yes, however the grain depends on the grade and age of the sand they use. I don't know how acurrate they could mask something up, ring some sandblasters up and ask them. On my trailer they wrapped the wheel hubs in rags to prevent sand getting into bearings.
