I just picked up a EF ECU with the code 94dt-12a650-bd or 4tbd. I am told that it is from a EF Ghia, can anyone verify this?
I am hoping someone with a Fairmont Ghia could crack open their kick panel and have a look for me. Cheers. Ugly Igley.

As you know, you're after a 94DT or 95DT.
The only other EF ECU's with this prefix are Tickford LPG items - the one I have is 94DT-12A650-GD 4TGD. So your's would be an EFII Ghia or an XR6 unit.

Cheers for that.
All I need now is to know which one. Am I right in saying the only difference between the ghia and the xr6 was the speed limiter?

I'm doing some Climate control installs, and I suspect that vehicles with Climate control need different voltages to a couple of pins to run the thermofans - this may be a way to tell what unit you have, since XR6's run standard ventilation.
