gday guys,
something strange happened the other night. after 4hours of highway driving the smartlock light came on and stayed on. i had turned the car off for 15min 2 hours earlier but light was not on when i restarted. i continued to drive for another 2.5 hours with the smartlock light on - i wasn't game to switch car off. the car did not run any different with the light on. in the morning car started fine and smartlock was off.

it has not done it since. prior to the drive the car had been sitting for 8 weeks in the car port, the last 3 of those weeks with the battery out. i reset the idle control and all that stuff and car was running fine for the first 4 hours.

i'm hoping its just gremlins nothing too serious. any ideas??
