i've got a 90' convertible Capri, getting quite bored with how it looks and how it goes at the moment but still have a soft spot for it... Do u think it's worth hanging onto and working it...
1. Mine is the non- turbo 1.6Ltr D.O.H.C... what mods can me done to this engine? 2. Where on earth can i find places for bodykits for this car? it's been virtually impossible to find in or around Melbourne... |

As far as I know there the same as the Lase's, so TX3 turbo engine which is the same as the Mazda GTX and Familia engines I think are all straight fit in! They go hard too! 2. I've seen a Corvette look a like body kit once, was cool bananans, no idea were you find them though - tried bodykits.com.au it's like a directory of Aussie body kit companies! |

cheers... so you don't think bolt on turbo kits are the go? i've thought about straight drop in's as well. you reckon it'd be pushing it to cram in a tx5 engine? yea, i'm going through all the sites now... but so far no luck... |

Dont do a bolt on turbo because you will only be able to run low boost on a stock engine. The engine type you are looking for is the F6 mazda engine from memory. JDM got a twincam turbo version "I THINK". That would be an awsome conversion and may be a straight bolt in |
