isnt it great to be back, ok i have a chance to buy a Holly Electric (blue) fuel pump for about $50-$60 (slightly used) i would like to know if there any major advantages to swaping it over.
Ps Cheers to the Admin Team.

Higher pressure rating I assume? Probably better for later on if you get bigger injectors or if you already have bigger injectors, it will keep the pressure in the fuel rail up and there won't be any leaning higher up in the rev range.

id love to get my 302 Clevelend Fuel injected, blow a few LS1's to the weeds, but for for now the carby will do.

if it is to replace a mechanical pump the big advantage is that you have a constant fuel flow and pressure. When the car sits for a while without starting you don't have to wind the motor over to pump the fuel upto the carby.

Holley Blue is regulated internally to 14 lb/in.
If you are going to use it, you need a fuel regulator and have it set to 5-6 lb. If you dont use a regulator, the pressure of the fuel will push the needles back in, and it will flood. |

the advantage is the flow of fuel at high rpm, where a normal pump can struggle, an elec one supplies.

Yes you will need a regulator.
Advantages - good constant pressure - you can wire it to a kill switch to prevent car theft - chrome plate looks good on block - gives you room to move |

Disadvantages: f**k noisy, try your hardest to mount it to not transfer noise, you will be doing well if you can hardly hear it.

the outside noise or inside?, my timing gears is already fairly noisy from the outside.
