Matt, what TB are you using? 65mm? 70mm? Did Mick Webb sort out all your TPS tuning on the TB?

I'm just running the stock throttle body (65mm?)... I run LPG most of the time and so the biggest restriction to flow is the LPG mixer, so enlarging the TB (or even the MAF) will theoretically have little effect.
As far as TPS tuning, I have absolutely no idea what that is!!

Ah right then. I was just curious whether you had changed your TB at the same time or not, as changing it to an AU 65mm TB means fiddling with the TPS. If you have the stock TB then its no issue with the TPS.
No problem.

I'd say that it would be the grind of the cam which may be at the upper limits of what the ECU will be able to handle. This is one of my concerns about using the TFS1 cam, but if not i'll throw in a unichip or if I can afford it go wolf.
Stock throttle body is 55mm too. How does it run on petrol Matt? If you want to see a good improvement i'd grab a bigger maf, throttle body and injectors, but then again it's all money. MAF will be your biggest restriction though cause air can only flow as much as the smallest hole. |

How is the EL now that the TPS has been sorted Dave . Is the idle ok. Does it pull nice and hard now. I hope so.

Yeah she does pull a fair bit harder. Revs up easier. TPS has fixed up the transmission problem too, i've been giving it a gutfull and hasn't been in limp home mode since it's been adjusted. Just gotta throw heads and cam on now and it should pull like a steam train

As far as I know, the cam is actually quite mild when compared to other crane cams like the 2030 and 2031... as far as the dual fuel side of things, at this stage it ONLY runs on petrol. The ECU is obviously still learning, as pinging under load has basically stopped, but revs after startup are all over the shop. While it will limp along on LPG, until it is actually tuned for gas, it's basically a petrol car. Should be going in this week for the gas tune and some other little bits and pieces.
