I wanna get a set of pacemakers and a sports system for the EL...but can you save much money by buying the components yourself and just getting them fitted?

What are the exhaust places mark-ups like on parts - or will they just sting you on the labour anyway if you bring your own stuff? Anyone done the sums?

most places will do it a bit cheaper if you buy the wholesystem of the one shop and have them fit it too. again generally they do it cheaper if you pay with cash.

my advice is ring around see what prices you can get.

Yeah shop around, I got quoted $540 by Gennie exhausts to supply and fit Wildcat 21X extractors, ended up buying the 21X's supply only for $200 from Mettam's Mufflers Belmont W.A, then had them fitted by a local exhaust shop in Mandurah W.A, with a 2 1/2" cat and mandrel bent exhaust for $550. Pays to make some phone call's.
