how bout getting a push bike!!

Take a racing line from corner to corner.

Use your horn more at interesections - thus negating the need to stop & start.

Avoid slowing down for traffic, use the footpath. Im sure the people using it could do with a bit of excitment in their everyday lives.

Also, you may find it finincially beneficial to hire some immigrant chinese fellas to help push your car if for any reason you need anymore than to breath on the accelerator to make it move. At 10c/hour, you can use them 5 hours a day, 365 days a year, and it will cost you only $180!!!



On a more serious note, i heard somewhere that accelerating quicly to the speed limit, is actually better than crawling to it, as your spending less time accelerating, and your using a more efficient part of the engines rev range. Anyone else heard anything on this?

I have been testing this lately. Cruising at varying speeds between 60-110km/h set on cruise on flat roads, with air con on, L/100km fluctuates between 7 & 8, with Air con off drops down to 5 & 6 L/100km
