For the dome light you need a coned LED. A normal one will work fine for reading lights..

voxace, you can get LED globes already made up for the dome light for your vehicle. They look just like the glass fuse type globe, but have the little circuit board inside the glass with four LED's on it. Gave out a good spread of light as well, considering it iwas blue.

Ok.

Firstly, my Futura has those two angled white lights andled towards the steering wheel and on the same angle for the passenger side. My interior light gives off a yellow colour as if it is detoriating. Can I make my interior light like bringht like my angled ones?

Second, putting the Blue LEDs in the dash, how hard and time cpnsuming is this? As I intend to replace my cluster with a mid series cluster, would it be easier doing it to the mid series cluster then replacing it in the dash? Is this possible?

Third, under my air vents under the centre console is a sauasge shaped panel. It is possible to put lights under here?

Thanks

You could but jeez I reckon it would be a bastard of a job.
You'd probably be better off sourcing the roof lining and wiring from a car with them to start you off.

I'm thinking for the dome light, (so that I can still bloody see) I should keep the stock globe in there (maybe sleeved), and add several blue LEDs - do you think that would come out crappy?
not at all... but you could use a "luxeon" 1 watt LED (f**k bright buggers!) for the white one. much brighter than the "high brightness" LEDs and a bit cooler colour temprature than the globe.

im changing my dash lights to really icy white leds next weekend, and might use a 1 watt led for the climate control setup.

cheers
