Lots of things.
Looms are different, plugs are different, ECU is different.

Hi there, I'm currently in the process of doing this exact conversion into an EL sedan. I'm having the sump cut and shut on the front to give provision for the crossmember, got an AU bell housing to fit onto my 4 spd, removed the coil pack, intake manifold, crank angle sensor, and ancelleries, and fitting all the ancelleries off the tired 4L onto this younger 4L. This will require the distrubitor, thermostat housing, and the intake manifold along with the engine harness for the EL all to be fitted to this unit. Just waiting on the sump before I pull out the tired unit. The latest issue i'm having rite now is what to do for the knock sensor, with regard to cutting and splicing the harness. I've got an AU alternator, and that'll be the next thing to wire in, too.
I saw an EL old cab today with this exact conversion done, it was VERY INTERESTING to say the least- especially with regard to the twin turbos on it!!!!
