Caltex today announced the signing of V8 Supercar star Craig Lowndes to a long-term personal sponsorship deal.
In a significant move, Caltex has expanded its relationship with Triple Eight Race Engineering to announce a personal sponsorship arrangement with Lowndes, strengthening the relationship between all three parties.

So what's that mean? Will one of the Tripple Eight Racing cars be decorated in Caltex war paint like Ingalls now? Is Ingalls car still Caltex sponsered?

No, it means lowndes will have a personal sponsor on his helmet. And if you looked on last years 888 cars they had the caltex decls over the headlights towards the end of the season. So now they have strengthened the bodn, they will probably get a little bit more signage on the cars.
