Hi

Just recently my EF Falcon's transmission refuses to budge out of 1st gear when it's cold. If I go through the gears (up and down) while stationary a few times, after it warms up, it seems to correct itself.

Plenty of AT fluid

Any ideas?

Could it be a modulator dying?

But the problem only happens when the car is started after sitting still for a while

What is the S5 Solenoid?

What does it control?

take it to an auto bloke you might have a Solenoid blocked or f**k or you might have to get you band adjusted
