i think its cheaper if you buy from a ford dealer, $12, as oposed to ngk's, and like, $20.

they are longer i beleive as well.

their was some talk of them requiring different leads as the plug connection is a different size, can anybody confirm?

I put some in my EL last service - got em for 9.50 each from the Fraud dealer. Dont be afraid to ask for trade price - they can only say no. Great deal.

Cant say i notice much difference though - other than the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing i have iridium plugs. :) Extended changes are good though....so not bad value IMHO.

If your plugs have the correct gap and heat rating then there should be no noticable difference... by the sounds of it, these are very long lasting plugs which would be the key benefit.

Hornet - cooler plugs are a sinch to find. I think LPG plugs are a heat range cooler... but have a poke around on NGK/Champion websites and they have all the listings there...

Pretty sure i run one heat range cooler (may be two?) but have to regap the buggers to suit forced induction... great way to turn a 20 minute job into an hour long job! lol
