The clear coat is peeling off my front bar due to some dodgy repair work done on behalf of a previous owner.

Just wondering if it would be worth getting it fixed up before i sell the old girl i.e. cost/benefit

cheers

I would say not. Most people accept that sort of thing as normal wear and tear, should sell fine with it there.

Depends what you're asking... if you're selling as a mint example then obviously peeling paint is an issue... However, if you're selling it as a quality car with some minor detailing required then you'll be fine. Definitely investigate a repair though, it's the defects that stick in people's minds when comparing cars after looking at several examples.
