umm, I get about the same, between 350-400k from a tank. All my driving is stop start and very small trips also, (normally under 5 minutes) my trip computer reads an average of about 24kph. On the other hand, on the highway I get about double. It would be good to get a few more K's around town...

You won't get any better fuel economy figures by flogging it, no matter what fuel you use. It may just go a little harder, but will still use all its capacity to burn the same amount of fuel it otherwise would have.

Yeah I would agree.
Less flogging = Better fuel economy. Also putting premium in an unmodified car does give you slightly better fuel economy but not compared to the extra cost of the fuel. That was the result of a test that Ford did on TV.
