Hi all, half way through my head + manifold upgrade (gt40p,explorer) have compared the difference on the lower manifolds, the only things that were different was a large sender of some sort (possibly air temp sensor?)
that there is no spot for, on the explorer where can i relocate this too?? And the other was the water spout at the back of the manifold (lower) that originally comes from throttle body? there is also no spot for this on the explorer...can i just block it off?? Would love some help ...

Yeah the missing sensor hole (in cyl5 lower runner) is for the air charge temp sensor. You can just tap that into anywhere in the intake system, normally in the rubber pipe between the throttle body and MAF, but you could even just tap it into the airbox itself to make things easy. You will probably just have to cut and extend the wires so they will reach the new location. And for the coolant line, yeah just block them off.
