Hey :-)
I would like to change the fuel filter on my partner's AU (Series 1) Faclcon Forte. Is the fuel filter in the same location as the fuel filter in the '98 EL Fairmont Ghia? If so, is the removal and replacement procedure the same? Regards Anthony |

yes and no.
most Au's had a screw end one end and a dodgy slip in fitting the other. just be careful when you undo this fitting as its not uncommon to break if your not too sure.

I am pretty sure there was a relay that had to be removed to de-pressure the fuel, is that correct?

fuel pump, then crank the engine over a few times..
however my mech did mine cause i couldnt get the nuts off and he did it for free, however he didnt bother dropping the pressure.
