Well the guy rang today.
both coupes were rusted to pieces, chassis are both f**k, the 8 was running on 4 cylinders, the 6's tranny was f**k beyond belief. He was there for about 15 minutes and left in disgust at the condition of both cars.

800 for the 6. 1100 for the 8. They weren't worth that.

XR6T in an old coupe! yuk yuk yukl yuk yuk! next you'll be fitting supra rear taillights! Old Clevo with a big shinny bug catcher on the top (or supercharger if you have the dollars) is what I'd have! But then I think you need to keep it matched with the era. |

I have an XB GT coupe which appeared to be looked after very well, always garaged, 2 owners etc, BUT when I took it off the road for "quick" refresh back to its original colour ,I found more than I bargained for, it had more rust than an old sigma! I was about to piss the project off, but after some research I found that 99.99% of coupes have been in this condition before being scrapped or rebuilt, so I believe that if you want a coupe bad enough you will buy the next available shell and start the long, hard, expensive relationship testing build! trust me 5 years into the build & its not even painted, not even close!

Yeah but i bet the chassis on that wasnt twisted, and the floor wasnt missing. Both of them were in a unrepairable state. Its sad.
