Last week i fitted the BBM intake manifold to my EB series 1 auto
its runs 2 TPS, i tried wiring them both together to the EL TPS i think that may have damaged the computer, now i have just left the AUTO tps unplugged as i no u dont need it connected to start that car, problem is i run the Error codes and keep getting 23 TPS Circuit Fault, ive tried several TPS, same code, if i unplug them i get 63 TPS to low or something either way the car wont start, its got spark , fuel, Im running out of patients and money i need my car running..... How do i stop fault 23 coming up did i damage the ECU??? Im running the EA computer, with the original Air temp sensor and EL TPS but tried the original 1 and same problem......

eb 3.9's do run two TPS sensors, ones for the auto computer, and ones for the ECU, since the EB 3.9 runs two different computers, thats the reason .
You need to run your complete loom from your MPI onto the BBM, if you only have 1 TPS connected, it won't go into 4th gear overdrive, EL's only have one TPS because the auto trans ecu is build into the EL ecu . I've done quite a few BBM's onto EA/EB's before, im located in the sunshine coast if you need anymore help ... I don't think you have damaged the ECU, Try putting the standard MPI back on, and check, and re check your BBM wiring . |
