Hey fellas i bought a power window conversion package for my ef today.
It came with the genuine wiring loom with the part number 94 DA 14405 BB. After throwing it on the ground and mingling with it i finally got it worked out to the best of my ability. now i need some ones help with the rest. I will post a picture up of it in my gallery of what i have and what i understand to make things a little better to understand. Firstly, should this loom connect straight into ECU? do i need to change my BEM? by thew way i had it layed out it looked like the big plug should go into the ecu (because of its distance from the front LHS window regulator.? And also there is a chunk of wiring which i have no idea what its for. (the stuff in green in the diagram. If anyone has an image explaining what this is for, or if they could tell me it would be of great help. thanks in advance.

the Green Circle has ABS sensors (rear) ur tail lights, fuel pump wiring, also has speaker wires and possible power for the fairmont amp It should have one Black Strap (bolt hole) with 3 wires on it for earth. It also has power for the rear demistor and interior lights connector thats Just above the drivers rear seat.
As for the red circle, thats the passenger repeater Indicator plug and maybe something I've forgotten. hope this all makes sence Andrew

You have the loom upside down, the red plug MAY be the main loom connector for the drivers side kick panel,
The reason I'm stating this is cos I remember when I changed my loom to fairmont.. the fuel pump wiring and rear demistor wiring runs on the drivers side, theres only One small plug for the rear left wheel sensor that tee's off Just at the left hand door pillar, All the rest of the loom is on the drivers side (from the back seats) and travels to the passenger side In the boot!

spot on about the green cicrle and its context. can i strip[ the loom to remove these off it and keep my original wiring for that part?
the stuff in the red circle, there is a big white plug and a smaller black plug. im guessing the smaller black plug is for the wires that run through to whats in the green circle correct? as foir this repeater indicator plug i just take out the existing and plug in mine? so nothing runs to the ecu or bem? thanks for your help.

thanks to krytox i now understand that the loom is upside down. after inspecting it and now knowing what that big chunk of wiring is for it doesnt seem so bad.
i know that because my car is a gli the power does not come pre wired in the white plug) do i need to tap into in order to get power to it? anything else you guys recommend before i rip into it??

yes you will need to power that plug. If you do it by running an induhvidual wire then make sure it is fused - or you could replace the dash loom as well and it will be all done for you.

Thick Gery with Yellow Stripe, Somewhere in the centre of the plug, (earth is via rear quarter panel)
It would be advisable to use 15+ amp guage wire
