Oh yea ,
it took a while with tests on every sensor associated with the ignition and fuel, but after all that I removed the dizzy(XH ute) and cleaned some muck out of the hall effect device and now she runs like a dream,I checked the timing as per the book after I installed the dizzy and no worries. I hope this may help someone else. Dean Jorr

Hi ,
its a magnetic pickup module that the ignition module plugs into and sets the firing timing for the distributor.this was used on the EL's and the XH's Regards Dean Jorritsma
