What's with guys and purple eh? I was under the impression purple is official colour for gay folk, lol. That and alot of purples just look plain gay.

Though the dude, forget name, who has that big bodykit, painted headlights (inside) and recently has his sprayed (dark metallic type purple), looks quite good.

Oops, and yeah prices. Those in the know will no doubt give you some.

depends on the type of job (finish) you want ..
can be from $1000 up .we got a good respray on a car for $1200..
but it wasnt perfect ..but it helped to sell it ..

sometimes if you do some of the work your self ,
like taking tail lites /headlites out ,grills etc & getting it ready to sand
back this can save a few $$$ ...

hope this helps :)
dave ...

Yeah, exactly.
There's people that do cheap backyard sprayjobs, that generally don't look bad from a distance.
Start getting closer and you notice imperfections but.
Your best bet, is to get friendly with a spraypainter, have a look at some of his previous work, and ask him if he's willing to do a cashy for a bit less if you strip the car for prep.
Generally also, a spraypainter worth his salt won't like you doing the prep.
They prefer to do it themselves so they know it's a good job and no imperfections will show up in the paint.

You're gunna love this.

I actually painted the weatherboards on my house purple. It was at the time when the BA XR's first came out in Phantom and I thought "F**k yeah, me house would look kick a** in that colour"....

It's now custom orb'd in Deep Ocean (blue).......
