I think you've reached your limitation in SUB quantity when the boot rattles at every beat...
There are too many Japanese derived vehicles (not that I am bagging out Japanese cars, it's just that cars made in Japan seem to be the victims in all of this) as well as Commonwhores getting around with the boots just rattling and clunking away while they have enough bass in the car to blow the windows clean out of 'em. Looks s**t, sounds s**t and IS s**t... |

I've just done all of the de-rattling. Doesn't make a sound. And it's not hard to achieve either!

Four seems slightly excessive!
I can get a f**k of bass from a s**t Sony 12", so I'd say two good quality 12's that are set-up well would be more then enough.

hehe yeh the Cadence ambo that think is insane
But back on point i run 4x Alpine Type-R 12" woofers and love it...there setup for SQL but still pulls good figures in SPL comps so yeh.

Just remeber too going 4 your gonna wanna provide alot of good clear current so you should get some decent gear if your really serious bout aquad sub setup...like dual batteries or more..decent enclosure volume...and good high end low impedance amps...plus some nice thick cabling and plenty of deadening
