I've recently purchased an EF Futura, however the driver's side mirror is white (like the car), but the passenger side mirror is black (like a GLi).
Is it an easy job to paint it (properly), or would I be better off just getting a new mirror from the wreckers? |

if you have done that kind of thing before, and have the confidence to do it then do it, u could also look at wreckers for a matching one but then again they might ask $$$ for it depending on condition and all, or u could find a spray painter to do it if u want a propery job, i know at work we have a bumper guy fix out mirrors when need to

remove the mirror take it down to a body shop (or leave it on, but I just don't like risking overspray) and they should be able to paint it for you for like $50.00 to $75.00ish I'd say. THat's based on prices I got to have bits of my body kit sprayed. It's worth it, the painted mirrors do look better, i recently did mine.

I'll be definitely having a white mirror, just trying to decide between painting this one or replacing it with a white one from the wreckers.
Part of me leans towards the painting (cos the motors on the current mirror are fine), but another part of me leans towards a new one (paint will never look as good as the original, unless i get inside it and paint the inside of the mirror. |
